I have copied most of my Flickr hijda pictures here , including those from my parent site that is a Coppermine photo gallery.

I shoot pain as I see it on the viewfinder of my karmic consciousness.

I shoot the pain of Ghame Hussain I shoot Moharam.

I shoot the cheek piercing of the Thapussam like Maryamma feast.. this too is a corollary to pain.

I began shooting the Hijdas recently about three years  , I shot what I saw , I shot it without dishonesty or deceit.

The Hijdas in the train while going to Bangalore is the most memorable pictures of the Hijdas I have ever shot…

The next are the pictures of Heena the Hijda from the redlight area of Peela House or Hijda Cages.

The pictures of Hijda Gully no1 at Kamatipura.

Hijdas are human , with all the color cosmetically attached to their personna , I take the reading of Pain before I bring them alive on a digital canvas.

I have shared food with the Hijdas, broken bread with them shared their angst and their agony.

I had the Hijda domain name for 2 years and it came to life this year merely as an advertizing page, a page that unlocks all my other bleeding blogs.

The Hijda community is wary, suspicious , defensive does not take kindly to being profiled either by the Press or on cybernet.

I have no Hijda support, save the encouragement of my Hijra Guru Laxmi Narayan Tripathi..

We meet once in a blue moon..

Her house is far from where I stay, she hardly comes to town as she is a jetsetting lady on the move globally.

I hope I can do justice to the Hijda cause through pictures on these Blogs.

The picture was shot at Athvi in Lucknow by Guddu, I am a insulin based diabetic , I cut my forehead

year after year  , the bleeding takes a lot of time to ease , but the wounds heal in a day or too..
