I have removed the comment box from my Shia sets, my Hijra sets , though I had kept my privacy option for comments for family and friends , yet this fragile wall gets breached time and again, by Flickr free members and Pro alike .(who are not even my contacts)
I am inundated with hate comments that border on extreme Shia hate , now if one reads my profile one will know that I shoot all religiosity, I dont promote or glorify Shiasm, but I do condemn Terrorism and Muslims killing Muslims.
On the other hand my Hijra images are visited by all kinds of Flickr voyeurs and there is nothing sensational in my Hijra pictures , no nudity , no porn , yet my Hijra posts have become an ideal toilet seat for urinating ones acidic thoughts or profaning my photostream with a diarrhea like defecation .. that was not within my control.
I cant go on blocking or deleting comments..I give up..
I type with a single finger of a permanently damaged right hand so posting 74600 blogs in 24 months has not been an easy task either.
I have finally decided to keep the comment option to myself till the Flickr degenerate matures ..and accepts the fact that rituals , traditions and ethnicity are as old as man..you may not like it but wont disappear ..they are are there to stay through the pictures we shoot to show this to the world…without the perks or salary of a National Geographic Photographer .
We spend money to visit the places we shoot , we give it all free ..in my case I dont sell pictures , and photography does not earn me any revenue…
I may not like a lot of porn one sees here at Flickr, but it does not attack me by its presence, I am mature enough to accept it as is where is basis, , as sexuality is a fact of life in the garbage bin of mans morality..
I dont pass lascivious comments on other peoples posts, I dont condemn thoughts on other peoples posts.. so I expect others to respect my views as a photographer though they may not adhere to those beliefs and customs.
I am a lone voice in the Flickerverse demanding the introduction of Comment Moderation, I have nothing against comments , I am against racism , racial profiling and hitting below the belt , constructive comments we all need to change and improve our bias, our viewpoint..but I am not going to change my religion or the color of my skin because you dont like it..
Earlier I confess I was defiant I hit back hard, but I sobered down in this Flickr community as it means a lot to me , Flickr is my second home among my contacts and friends .I dont want to alienate myself.. but because of a bigot I have to do away with the comment box at Flickr. And the somnolence and deafness of a robotic Flickr management.
I will not whine or cry at the Flickr Help Forum, I am a blogger and through the Blog I reach out to all of you..all over the cyberspace , and Cheru Jackson of Alpha Inventions carries my voice a thousand times over at the click of a mouse.
So my religious posts , my hijra posts the poems pertaining to that genre will be devoid of the comment box.
Hope you all understand.. I bleed but nothing personal..its my blood flowing through the consciousness of my thought..

I am trying to garner support on this issue, Word Press Blogspot have Comment Moderation, why Flickr does not implement it beats me.
.Comment Moderation gives me the right as the author of my post to read a comment vicious or constructive before it is published..
I delete the malicious one , as simple as that..no blocking ..or I add it to Spam.
Another thing which is needed is every Flickr member must give his genuine background, with his profile photo or avatar, must have pictures on his photo stream, otherwise there will be more chaos and more hate circulating around..
Every fundamental group has its proxy agent commenting hate on our pictures -this must certainly stop..artistic expression of thought of the author should be respected , you dont like it move on..see something else that defines your choice or taste.
Flickr is for everyone and not just for a motley group.. This I write in pain as I am Flickr member following Flickr terms of service rules and guidelines..and for two years I have taken this under my stride..
I remember Flickr deleted a Scot picture of mine a naked ass beneath a kilt ,because it hurt the man who was racially abusing me at Poem Hunter ..and he was a white man mind you, why is this rule not followed when I am being abused ..again beats me
Rules should be equal for everyone.. black white yellow red or anemic
Blocking is not the only way,a bit of policing by Flickr is important to weed out these disgruntled elements , who dont post pictures but comment on everything under the sun.. with hate ..constructive or suggestive comments can be understandable..
Why as blogger must I give in to a bigot every time by blocking him..
and if someone does not like me all his friends relatives put a block or flag my pictures is an issue that needs to looked into by Flickr management..
I want peace of mind as a Flickr blogger, I dont hassle anyone why should I be hassled even though I am a Pro member..I could have been an ordinary member too..
I respect peoples privacy , my privacy too should be respected..
I am not into porn, I am a blogger whose work is marked Safe by Flickr management..
I may be slightly opinionated but who isnt..?
I add a message to my body post from a dear friend from America..
"I want you to know I really enjoy your work and think you have chosen to cover something very beautiful and special. I’m so sorry to hear that people of little soul are bothering you. It really just proves how strong your work is.
Stay strong, be you and know you make a difference by covering it all. It takes courage and strength to do it but, somehow I know you seem to be the person for the journey.
Remember friend – “Strength does not come from physical capacity. It comes from an indomitable will.”
